Parking enforcement in Lewisham is carried out fairly and equitably in accordance with the Road Traffic Act 91 and Traffic Management Act 2004 (as amended).

National Car Parks carry out the following functions on our behalf:
- parking enforcement
- maintenance of pay and display machines
- upkeep of parking restriction infrastructure, both on- and off-street.

Complaints about parking enforcement and Penalty Charge Notices
The Council’s parking services team handles all complaints and enquiries in a courteous and helpful manner . They are responsible for responding to all written representations about Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs).
